UN-POLAC felicitates with Muslim Faithfuls, urges them to sustain lessons from Ramadan to promote peaceful coexistence

The County President of UN-POLAC Amb. Sir. Peter Ohagwa has extended hearty congratulations to all Muslims at this year’s celebration of Eid El Fitr.
A Statement by the Secretary General of UN-POLAC, Dr. Mrs Patricia Agu quotes Sir Ohagwa as saying that religious festivals should be used as tools to foster good relationships in diversity, either cultural, socially, or even religiously.
He urged all the Muslim faithful to admonish the essence of the celebration, using it to reflect on the factors that will advance the society for the betterment of mankind.
“Eid El Fitr of next year will be a better one as we keep agitating for more peaceful and secured Nigeria.”
Amb, Ohagwa while commending the efforts and commitment of the Federal Government towards security Re-enforcement in the country, that translates in the National Assembly’s swift action towards establishing Nigeria Forest Security Services a task force to ensure proper protection of the Nation’s natural resources from vandalization of which has passed second reading.

This new and welcomed development of the Federal Government’ whose core mandate and objectives is geared towards curbing criminalities as well as kidnapping in boundary forest, across Federation which has become a safe haven for criminals .

on should be part of the formation and recruited to join the corps with vigorous training towards effective actualisation.
